Chris Fahrenthold is a teacher, writer, and artistic collaborator in Madison, WI. After graduating from the University of Southern California, he received his MFA in Creative Writing from Bennington College. At Madison Ballet, he directs outreach efforts throughout the region and across various media. He develops programming, conducts onstage talkbacks following performances, and is the host of the podcast At the Barre w/ Madison Ballet.

In addition to his outreach duties, Chris is on the production staff, where he is the Assistant Stage Manager for all mainstage performances of the company. He also teaches workshops at the School of Madison Ballet on the art, culture, and history of ballet.
