Take your next steps in the School Division

In the School Division, dancers progress through a curriculum designed to increase technical skills and build stamina, with a focus on individual development.

Students in SMB’s School Division (ages 7 to 18) attend one or more technique classes per week, with intermediate to advanced students also attending classes in pointe, men’s class, conditioning, and modern. Most SMB technique classes feature live piano accompaniment, giving students the opportunity to develop musicality, and a unique focus on the connection between music and movement.
