Ignite your dancer’s passion in the SMB Children’s Division

The SMB Children’s Division is led by our experienced, professional faculty with convenient monthly enrollment to accommodate the schedules of busy families.

Our instructors provide each student with an enriching arts education in a supportive and welcoming learning environment using the building blocks of anatomy, geometry, physics, and linguistics. Many classes feature live piano accompaniment, fostering musicality and dynamic movement as students gain body awareness and motor control.

Age-appropriate exercises provide safe practice of the basic shapes, positions, and postures of classical ballet, preparing dancers to move on to our School Division.

All Children’s Division classes are also offered on Madison’s East Side at the newly built Madison Youth Arts Center.
