After my daughter watched, she asked me when she could take lessons! Although she is often shy, she was very determined to meet the young ballerinas. I will surely recommend this program!!!

Madison Ballet’s Discover Dance educational programs offer unique and interactive exposure to the art of ballet.

Students from preschool through high school have enjoyed the energy that Madison Ballet brings to its presentations.

The benefits of dance education are well-documented. Students who are exposed to dance at an early age gain self-esteem and discipline, while learning valuable skills like balance, rhythm, coordination and cooperation.

Discover Dance! programs are carefully customized to ensure that the participants are both entertained and educated. Most can be held at your location. Contact us to learn how we can create a meaning program for you.

Inspiring Classes for Dancers

Master Classes provide local students with opportunities to train with visiting dance professionals through partnerships with touring dance companies or guest artists.

Madison Ballet’s company members and artistic staff are also available to visit your dance studio or conference for hands-on workshops with students.

Classes are held in Madison Ballet’s Westgate Studios or other studio locations in the area.

Lecture Demonstrations

Madison Ballet's interactive lecture-demonstrations give audiences an "offstage and personal" look at the art of ballet.

From warm-up and class to rehearsal and performance, there’s much more to a dancer’s training than what finally appears on stage.

Offstage and Personal programs showcase advanced and pre-professional students from the School of Madison Ballet in a fun and interactive ballet experience.

Each program is tailored to be age-appropriate and engaging for children from kindergarten through high school and adults.

Creative Movement Workshops

Movement In Your World introduces students to movement and music through engaging activities that encourage joyful self-expression.

Lead by Madison Ballet’s professional faculty, students in these 30-60 minute workshops explore fundamental concepts such as pathway, level, and weight, while improving creative problem solving and team skills.

Workshops can be scheduled individually or as a series.
