She also deals regularly with patient safety and quality-of-care issues involving disputes with physicians, patient claims and complaints, medical staff bylaws and organizational structures, and many other issues. Sarah was selected as the Wisconsin Bar Association Health Law Attorney of the Year in 2011 and as Leader in the Law by the Wisconsin Law Journal in 2013. She has been listed in Best Lawyers In America since 2009 and was named a SuperLawyer in 2015. Sarah is also an Adjunct Professor of health care law at the University of Wisconsin Law School.
Sarah has had a life-long commitment to the arts, inspired by her mother who was an accomplished ceramist and now by her daughter who studies art at UW-Madison. Thanks to her dancing daughters, Sarah proudly considers herself a certified dance mom, with a particular love for ballet. She is a long-time Nutcracker mom and avid fan of Madison Ballet.
