Jane Richardson’s career spanned leadership roles in government, the private sector and not for profit corporations. Her executive employment included positions with the City of Madison as Deputy Mayor, Foley & Lardner law firm and the American Red Cross, as well as organizations serving the elderly. Prior to coming to Madison she was a regional planner in Texas and a hospital social worker in Michigan. Now retired from active employment, Jane remains energetically involved in the community, having served on numerous boards of directors including those governing the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art, the First Unitarian Society, the Girl Scouts and the YWCA. When she is not playing tennis or keeping up with two book groups, she currently serves on the boards of the Monona Terrace Convention Center, the Madison Committee on Foreign Relations and the Madison Ballet.
