David Nissenbaum received his Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Athletic Training from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1994. He obtained his Masters in Sports Administration from the University of Northern Colorado in 1995. He then returned to Madison to obtain a Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1999. David has practiced in the Madison area since 1999. David has an integrated and unique treatment philosophy for treating soft tissue injuries. He uses a "holistic" approach to treatment. David has taken extensive continuing education courses in soft tissue injuries, patellofemoral dysfunction, advanced manual therapy and therapeutic exercise techniques. David's professional interests include sports medicine, manual therapy, posture, prevention of injuries and functional rehabilitation. David is an active member of several professional organizations including APTA, NATA, WPTA, WATA, AAOMPT. David is also licensed as an athletic trainer and certified in the ASTYM technique.
