Susan Springman’s 40+ year career has spanned executive level positions in the private and public sectors. She has extensive legislative policy experience at the state and local level having served in the Wisconsin State Senate, Wisconsin Department of Administration and City of Madison. She is currently an elected Trustee for the Village of Waunakee. Springman is also a licensed commercial real estate broker and real estate developer and manager. Her expertise is in urban redevelopment having been involved in Madison’s downtown redevelopment since the late 1970’s. Her experience includes having managed the State of Wisconsin’s real estate portfolio including all state office buildings and the State Capitol, developing University Square, 22 East Mifflin Street, the Department of Administration Building and 2550 University Avenue. Springman has coupled her professional career with community service having served on dozens of local organizations including the Madison Civic Repertory Theater, Madison Community Foundation, Agrace Hospice, YWCA, Downtown Madison, Inc. and Smart Growth.
