Support Madison Ballet by volunteering in a multitude of ways:
- Strengthen community awareness
- Increasing public appreciation
- Supplement Madison Ballet operations
- Contributing to it’s financial strength
Nurture a community where volunteers can share their passion of ballet and develop new skills. Madison Ballet's goal is to provide its volunteers with the information and tools they need to have a rewarding experience. However you contribute, you receive the enormous satisfaction of making a difference by supporting Madison Ballet’s mission and artistic vision.
Volunteer Opportunities:
Madison Ballet Concessions: Assist retail operations at Madison Ballet shops during performances and other events.
Education/Outreach Support: Crafting props, handing out materials, additional staff support.
Costume Shop: Provide support to costuming department.
Group Sales Initiative: Help members promote group ticket sales for current season.
Membership: Recruit and encourage new members; assist at membership receptions; maintain membership database.
Nutcracker: Participate in promotional and in-theatre Nutcracker events and initiatives. (For example: Nutcracker auditions, distribution, and backstage).
Office Assistance: Support a variety of business and administrative tasks. (For example: data entry, mailings, phone call campaigns, studio projects, and more).
Special Events: Support special events and receptions as requested by MB. (For Example: Evening at the Barre, Holiday Market, Nutcracker Fashion Show, intermission receptions, opening nights, Kids Expo, Merchandising, and more).
Welcome Desk: Greet staff, dancers, and visitors at Madison Ballet studios.
Development: Assist with marketing campaigns and research. Overall support of development staff. (For Example: grant research, business analysis/research, and more).
