Mia Sanchez trained at Ballet Chicago under the direction of Dan Duell and Patricia Blair. She performed in the corps and as a soloist in Ballet Chicago’s production of Balanchine’s Serenade, Rubies, Who Care’s, and The Nutcracker.
In 2014 Ms. Sanchez joined BalletMet’s trainee program under the direction of Timothy Lynch. At BalletMet, Ms. Sanchez performed in The Nutcracker, Cupid Variation from Paquita, La Bayadere, as well as outreach programs throughout Columbus, Ohio.
Ms. Sanchez attended summer intensives at Chautauqua with Patricia McBride and Jean Pierre-Bonnefoux, Exploring Ballet with Suzanne Farrell, Ballet Austin with Stephen Mills, BalletMet’s Summer Intensive with Timothy Lynch and Susan Dromisky, and Saratoga Summer Dance Intensive with Melinda Roy and Roberto Munoz. This is her first year as an apprentice with Madison Ballet.
