Scott Knapp is the managing principal of investment consulting at CUNA Mutual Fiduciary Consultants. In this role he is responsible for development of the firm’s overall investment philosophy and implementation of programs that help institutional investors meet their objectives. Knapp also designs state-of-the-art portfolio strategies that provide solutions to large or complex investment challenges. He chairs the Investment Committee that approves strategy and performs due diligence on investments offered in the firm’s programs, and he is a member of the Capital Markets Committee that performs ongoing research on the macro economy and financial markets. 

Knapp is a frequent contributor to financial press and author of several position papers that explore contemporary issues in economics and finance. He is also a regular keynote speaker at financial services forums across the country. Knapp is an active member of the CFA Institute, the CFA Society of Madison, the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries, the National Association for Business Economics, and NAFCU Economics Group. He is an adjunct professor of investments at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and he serves on the board of directors for Madison Ballet. 

Knapp holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and a Master of Banking & Finance from Boston University. He also holds Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) professional designations
